The persistence of Trump’s support raises the question of whether anything his supporters discover about him can shake their belief in him. I think any events that can shake them would have to intense and rather long-lasting.

They also said Trump lacks good leadership skills (58 to 39 percent); is not honest (65 to 30 percent); committed crimes before becoming President (64 to 24 percent); and committed crimes while he has been President (45 to 43 percent). Despite thinking that Trump lacked integrity, these voters did not think Congress should begin the process to impeach Trump (59 to 35 percent).
